I'M TIRED!!!!!!
But just so you guys have an idea of what my weekend is like, I think these videos will explain it nicely. I took these today after Shawn woke up at 3 am and Ethan woke up at 5 am. They start earlier. After breakfast and constant activity (you cannot take your eyes off of Ethan) Ethan needs to get out. This was now the second time for today that he decided that the dry dog food should be in the dogs water dish. We go for a 1 mile walk while the boys ride their tricycles. Come back home for lunch and more play. Not enough play so the boys make it over to the neighbors to play on their jungle gym. And then more play. I have work to do so Greg plays with them while I do the laundry. We go out again to get the boys out of the house. Come back they are tired but want to play some more. So I make dinner, give them a bath, and put them in bed. While I went to get their milk this is what they were doing.
During this day we have also been doing other household stuff. So while one watches the other does some form of cleaning. So the reason we are none responsive is because neither Greg nor I have really sat down since 5 am.....Actually, Greg was up with Shawn since 3 am. Shawn and Ethan are also LESS active now then before especially since neither one of them took a nap. If you pay attention and are able to sit through the whole thing you will notice that even my Husky Sasha is beat.
One other note....Greg had also been wrestling with them hoping to tire them out. By the time I got the camera, he was the one that was tired. So I missed that shot. Maybe next time.

"The Water Horse"
Before the event there was music, kids playing, and an ice cream van. So, when a song that Shawn liked came on he decided he wanted to dance. Unfortunately, we missed most of his butt dance by the time we got the camera ready.
We didn't stay for the whole movie but we still had a nice time at the event. Additional pictures are on our Shutterfly site.

The Discovery Zone
We took the boys to the Discovery Zone today as there was the Bob the Builder exhibit. Shawn seemed to really enjoy himself and so did Ethan. Except Ethan was a busy body as always. I had to watch him closely as he felt the need to throw balls at people. He picked up a toy onion and threw it. Lucky for us the guy he almost hit had quick reflexes and caught the onion. A Kodak moment that I missed. After that, I handed him over to his dad and watched Shawn instead.
Both boys had a good time looking at the dinosaur exhibit. We followed the boys into a cave area where there was a T-Rex on a screen. At one point the T-Rex roars and Ethan quickly pushes past his dad and me shouting "It's going to bite me, it's going to bite me". We've posted the video for you to see it.
The day, of course, didn't end there. We stopped off at the park for a little while. Again, Shawn was well behaved and Ethan felt the need to do things he wasn't supposed to. He decided to put a small stone in his mouth and had a fit when I tried to take it out. Still mad, he tossed sand which ended up in his own eye.
The good thing is the day ended well. Ethan ate his dinner and even had some of my fish. Some jumping on the bed and singing silly rhymes later they went to sleep.

Fun with Aunty
So over all was a good day. I was very proud of both of them as they were so well behaved. Well...as well as a 3 and 2 year-old can be. They are both playing as I write this post. They are chasing each other on their bikes around the table. I think I will go an join them. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend.

The Carnival
Shawn saw me sitting up front but was still nervous. Turns out he was waiting to see his dad. When he caught a glimpse of his dad, he did a 180 and was all into singing and participating. We were proud of him.
Ethan will have to wait until next year to participate. He did enjoy some cotton candy and shaved ice.
