A Hectic First Month for 2010
Wow....I would have to say we had a lot going on this first month. It started off a little scary as our littlest guy gave us quite a scare when he a reaction to something. We still don't know what it was but thanks to quick thinking dad we were able to get his breathing under control. It was an experience with a ride to the ER in an ambulance. He is doing fine now but we have to be more alert with him.
Shawn is going to Kindergarten this coming fall. So we had to decide if were going to keep him in a private school or move him to public. Well...we've finally decided to start him in public. So we had to check out the school, find a before-and-after care program, and get him registered. He should be good to go. Ethan will be moving to the new day care with Shawn.
Greg has been working on the house and has painted the hallway and the family room. We are hoping to get the house in better shape this year. I think it is coming along nicely. We actually did go out with some new friends that we have made. It was nice to get out for some company.
Then, of course, there was our first snow storm of the year. I did actually help Greg with Shoveling and snow blowing. Of course, pictures are below.

Christmas Party
The Boys and Their Dogs
As Christmas and New Year's is already over and I have posted the Chrismas pictures on our Shutterfly, I thought I would just show you guys how the dogs just love our boys...or maybe it's the other way around.
Ethan has to lie on Sasha every morning and Foxy has to make her way over for her share of pets.
Sasha came looking for Shawn and climbed in his bed as she missed him.

Winter Has Arrived!!!
While it is in the 80's in Cali, as you can see from our pics, it is freezing over here. My dad was visiting us for Thanksgiving and just missed the first snow of this winter. Here are some pics of when it first started to snow. I've also added a video. By the time we made it outside it was starting to snow heavier.

We finally made it back outside once the snow slowed down. Now you can see pics of what our front yard looked like almost 3 hrs later. Check out the boys having a snowball fight. I didn't even need to suggest the idea...they came up with it all on their own. Got another video too....so hope you like.

Happy Thanksgiving
We had a really nice Thanksgiving this year. We got a surprise visit from Grandpa (my dad). The boys were so happy. I normally go shopping on Black Friday but with my dad in town I didn't. We went to New York and had a great time...spent all day there. We went on a tour and stopped off at Macy's which was a bad idea. It was so crowded that you couldn't even shop. The mens line was actually 10 mins long...now how often does that happen.
Then today Shawn was very upset when he found out that his Grandpa was going home. He has even picked out a house for him a few doors down. The boys made sure that Grandpa helped with the Christmas tree before he left.
The boys were so well behaved at lunch that I was surprised. All in all it was a great weekend. Pics are up at the usual site.
